The presentation about user experience did not change my perspective about web pages. I have always considered content and visual aspects to be more appealing to the user than the experience. If a website is somewhat difficult to use, but very interesting and visually pleasing, the users will more than likely continue to use the website and figure it out along the way. However, I do think the presentation had interesting ideas on how to make a website memorable and effective.
One of the main feelings we want to get from the users of our website is that the profile is easy to navigate and has interesting information and visual aspects. We have constructed a navigation bar to ease the problem of finding and viewing all of our pages. We have included interesting images on all of our pages as well to make them look great. One thing that will make the web pages memorable, is the fact that we have given a background story to each of our locations.
